Maharashtra's gram panchayat elections, vote counting is currently underway. Voting for the 12,711 gram panchayats in 34 districts across the state took place on Friday.

The results of the Gram Panchayat show that the alliance of Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress in the Mahavikas Aghadi is getting great success. Minister Aditya Thackeray has reacted to the results of the Gram Panchayat. Aditya Thackeray has said that the results of the Gram Panchayat elections have once again proved the faith of the people in the Mahavikas Aghadi. Also, people from cities to villages have faith in the government, said Aaditya Thackeray.

"I believe that the people have faith in the Maha Vikas Aghadi, including chief minister Uddhav Thackeray, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar and Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat. They are doing good work,"said Thackeray.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has responded that the results of the Gram Panchayat elections in the state are satisfactory. Pawar also promised to provide all possible help to the elected members for development works.

The counting of votes in the Gram Panchayat elections is underway and so far BJP has won 678, Shiv Sena 714, NCP 578, Congress 520 and MNS has won 14 Gram Panchayats. Independents have also taken over 858 gram panchayats.
