In distressing news that is coming to light from the state of Maharashtra, a 29-year-old man murdered his wife by strangling her to death using a mobile charger cable. The incident took place at around noon on February 4 at Tembhurkheda in the taluka.

The deceased has been identified as Ankita Deepak Jichkar (23, Sawangi, Tembhurkheda). In this case, Varud police arrested the accused husband Deepak Rajendra Jichkar (29, resident of Sawangi, H.M. Pusla). Police said the incident was caused by a family dispute.

Ankita and Deepak got married a year ago. But due to a dispute between the couple suince a few days, Ankita was living with her parents in Tembhurkheda. Deepak was contantly visiting his wife's parents house. Deepak had objected to Ankita's sister's enagagement due to which her parents had kicked him out of the house. After which he threated to kill her family. 

On February 4, Deepak reached Tembhurkheda. Taking advantage of the fact that no one was at home in the afternoon, he strangled his wife Ankita to death. The incident came to light when her parents came home around 4 pm on Thursday. Amrita Sudhakar Alaspure (22, Tembhurkheda), younger sister of the deceased, lodged a complaint at Warud Police Station. The police have arrested the accused and further investigation in on.
