There is good news for women coming to Mumbai from all corners of Maharashtra to work and pursue a career. MHADA will construct a special 500-room hostel for women at Tardeo in Mumbai. State Housing Minister Jitendra Awhad made an announcement in this regard today.

He was speaking at a press conference in Mumbai. "Women come to Mumbai with many dreams. They don't have a place to live, due to which they have to face hardships. Therefore, a special women's hostel of 500 rooms will be constructed at Tardeo by MHADA that will provide shelter to women coming here from different parts of state. This will accommodate 1000 women ", said Jitendra Awhad. The work of this project will be undertaken soon and it will be completed in next one to one and half years, said Awhad.

"There is no accommodation for working mothers in Mumbai. They have to find a place beyond Vasai-Virar or Dombivli. Therefore, MHADA has taken initiative to provide accommodation to women in Mumbai. MP Supriya Sule along with party president Sharad Pawar had suggested setting up of this hostel, "said Awhad.
