Amid tension within the Maha Vikas Aghadi over the India-China border dispute, the NCP and Congress leaders are upset with chief minister Uddhav Thackeray's decision of the latest lockdown extension announcement. According to sources both the parties only got to know about the lockdown extension when the notification was released on June 29

NCP Chief Sharad Pawar along with other NCP leaders are expected to meet Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray on Thursday to express their displeasure over the lockdown extension.

Earlier the Congress and the NCP had expressed their displeasure over CM Thackeray relying more on bureaucrats than his alliance partners, alleging that alliance members were being 'sidelined'.

NCP and Congress ministers believe that they are not being taken in to confidence before initiating such lockdown measures which they believe is unacceptable.
