The results for the Secondary School Certificate (Class 10) exams have been declared by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) on Wednesday.

The overall pass percentage of fresh candidates who appeared for the March 2020 examinations was recorded at 95.30 per cent.

A total of 17,65,898 candidates registered for the Secondary School Certificate examinations this year.

The exams took place in March this year, stated MSBSHSE.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has congratulated the successful students. The minister in his tweet, wrote, "Congratulations to all students as you cross an important milestone of SSC exams and embark on the next stage of life’s journey. Even if the results haven’t been up to your expectation, don’t be disheartened as life is full of opportunities. My best wishes are with all of you."
