Maharashtra's Ladki Bahin Yojana played a major role in win of Mahayuti in Assembly election. After the Mahayuti government got a majority in the assembly elections, the budget session was held and in that session, there was a possibility of an announcement about the promises made by the Mahayuti government. However, the opposition accused the government of not keeping the promises that they have made. Speaking at the Gudi Padwa meeting on Sunday, MNS President Raj Thackeray also targeted the Mahayuti government over the Ladki Bahin scheme. Raj Thackeray said that the Ladki Bahin scheme will be closed. On the other hand, BJP MLA Pravin Darekar has said that it is not right to give Rs 2100 to women at present.

At the Gudi Padwa meeting of MNS, Raj Thackeray reminded the promises made by the Mahayuti during the election period. At this time, Raj Thackeray said in his speech that the Ladki Bahin scheme will be closed. Speaking on the issue of the budget session, Raj Thackeray said that the government cannot run the Ladki Bahin scheme. In response to this allegations BJP MLA Pravin Darekar has given a clarification on this. He said that we are trying to provide relief to the beloved sisters as soon as possible.

"The state government is taking many measures to stabilize the financial situation of the state. We will try to provide relief to the beloved sisters as soon as possible. But considering the financial situation of the state today, it is not right to give 2100 rupees immediately and it is not even joint," said Praveen Darekar.

What did Raj Thackeray say?

"If 2100 is given in the Ladki Bahin scheme, then the Maharashtra government will generally have a debt of 63 thousand crores per year. That is, three to four lakh crores in five years. This money is just for distribution. But it cannot be distributed, the government does not have money, that scheme will also be closed. Who asked us to take out loans and celebrate Diwali? Raj Thackeray asked.
