Maharashtra government has taken a big decision on Thursday in the cabinet meeting. It has now been decided to make wine available for sale in grocery stores and supermarkets in the state. So the state will now see wine selling in shops and supermarkets.

Wine will now be available for sale in supermarkets, general stores or walk-in stores in the Maharashtra. The state government took the decision to increase the revenue from wine sales in the state. The decision is expected to add thousands of crores of rupees to the state's revenue.
