The demand for Maratha reservation has turned aggresisve and seen protests from various organizations. A torch march of the Maratha organization will be held at the residence of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, on the other hand, the All India Maratha Federation has warned to burn the 'Mantralaya'for reservation. Regarding this, District President of All India Maratha Federation Arvind Deshmukh said that until the issue of Maratha reservation is resolved, schools and colleges should not do recruitment.

Also, whoever the government is, these leaders have burned the files in the ministry to hide their corruption, destroyed the evidence, but for Maratha reservation, we will now burn the entire Mantralaya if the reservation issue is not addressed immediately,

Arvind Deshmukh said that the policy of the previous government was to kill farmers, but the policy of the current government is to kill the children of Marathas.

The Supreme Court on September 9 stayed the implementation of the 2018 Maharashtra law granting quota in education and government jobs to the Maratha community, and referred the petitions challenging the law to a larger constitution bench.
