Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil has issued a strong warning, announcing a major protest in Mumbai. While keeping his exact strategy secret, he confirmed preparations are underway to mobilize for the city.

Patil, the leader of the Maratha reservation movement, has increased his criticism of the current government. He has also connected his protest to the murder of Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh in Beed, intensifying the situation. Patil sent a firm message to the government, stating that the Maratha community is determined to achieve reservation and will act decisively, leaving the government with no recourse. He cautioned the Chief Minister to take this seriously.

Patil expressed his distrust of the government, accusing them of delaying tactics until elections. He declared that negotiations are over and the Maratha community will now take action. He characterized the current reservation struggle as a "final match" and criticized the government's delay in issuing necessary notifications related to OBC law amendments, accusing them of betraying the Maratha community.

Patil defended his position, arguing that demanding reservation does not make him a casteist and that those who oppose the Maratha community's demands are the true casteists. With tensions escalating, Patil's threat of a large protest in Mumbai puts significant political pressure on the government as elections approach. His next steps will be closely monitored.
