In a shocking incident that has left the residents of Virar in disbelief, a delivery boy narrowly escaped death when a massive tree suddenly crashed onto his scooter late at night on Saturday, March 29. The terrifying incident took place around 10:30 PM near Maharashtra Bank, Agashi Chalpeth, Virar. The frightening moment was captured on CCTV, showing the large tree toppling without any warning and landing directly on the scooter. The impact was so sudden that the rider had mere seconds to react. Thankfully, he managed to swerve just in time, avoiding a fatal accident. The footage reveals the sheer force of the fall, with the tree barely missing the rider as it crashed onto the ground. The incident has sparked outrage among residents, with many demanding immediate action from the local municipal authorities to ensure the safety of pedestrians and drivers. 

In another incident, six  people died after a huge tree fell on several vehicles following a landslide near Gurudwara Manikarn Sahib in Himachal's Kullu district on Sunday, officials said.A tree on the mountain opposite the gurudwara got uprooted following a storm and landslide. It fell on some vehicles parked on the road, killing six and injuring three others, they said. Medical teams, police and revenue officials are present at the spot and coordinating rescue and relief operations, said Kullu's Sub Divisional Magistrate Vikas Shukla told reporters at the spot. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur have expressed deep grief over the incident.CM Sukhu has directed the district administration to extend all possible assistance to the victims and their families. He has also instructed officers to ensure the best possible medical treatment for the injured.
