A few days ago, Raj Thackeray held a meeting of MNS leaders in Pune. MNS has started preparations for the upcoming municipal elections. Navi Mumbai, Vasai-Virar, Kalyan Dombivali, Aurangabad municipal elections will be held in the near future. MNS is also preparing for Mumbai, Pune Municipal Corporation elections.

The MNS-BJP alliance has been under discussion in the state for the last few days, but MNS office bearers in Pune and Mumbai have demanded that the municipal elections should be contested independently. Meetings of MNS leaders are underway in every Lok Sabha constituency in Mumbai. In Mulund, MNS leader Amit Thackeray and General Secretary Sandeep Deshpande held a meeting of party workers.

On the background of this meeting, MNS general secretary Sandeep Deshpande said that at present MNS meetings are being held in various areas, this has been going on for the last 2 days, meeting is still being held today, dialogue with MNS workers is underway.
