The problems for Maharashtra minister Dhananjay Munde doesn't seem to end as his second wife Karuna Munde (Karuna Sharma) on Wednesday lodged a complaint against him with the Mumbai Police Commissioner. In the complaint she has alleged that the minister has kept his two children in his bungalow in Chitrakoot for the past three months. The complaint also states that her 14-year-old girl is not safe. She also threated to go on a hunger strike from February 20 if the police did not cooperate.
In an application filed by Karuna with the Commissioner of Police, my husband Dhananjay Munde has been hiding my two children in his Chitrakoot bungalow for the last three months. I am not being allowed to meet them. When I went to his bungalow on January 24 to visit my children, Munde called 30 to 40 policemen and kicked me out. My children are not safe in his bungalow. It includes a 14-year-old girl and there's no female caretaker. Munde is not behaving in a decent manner with my daughter. Munde is going to be responsible if anything goes wrong with my children. If I don't meet my children, I will go on a hunger strike from February 20. So please allow fasting in front of Chitrakoot Bungalow or at Mantralaya and Azad Maidan. She also demanded for stern action against Munde in her application.
A few days ago a Renu Sharma had alleged that Munde is raping her by giving an assurance of marrying her and also promised to help her to get work as a singer in Bollywood.
However Maharashtra Social and Justice Minister Dhananjay Munde refuted rape allegation levelled by the woman and said he is in a relationship with her since 2003.
In a post on Facebook, the NCP leader claimed that the Renu Sharma and her sister Karuna Sharma are trying to blackmail him and extort money from him. He said that he had also given a complaint to the police in November 2020. Munde said that he is in a relationship with the Karuna since 2003 and has two children with her. The minister said that their relationship is also accepted by his family.
