The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has released the final results of the State Service (Main) Examination-2024 on April 8, 2026. Conducted between May 27 and May 29, 2025, the exam has led to the recommendation of 461 candidates across 20 different cadres.
In this examination, Vijay Nagnath Lamkane (624 marks) from Solapur district secured the first rank in the state among candidates in the General and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories. Vijay Lamkane, a resident of Konheri village in the Mohol taluka of Solapur district, received his education at a Zilla Parishad school.
Meanwhile Aarti Parmeshwar Jadhav (601 marks), also from Solapur district, secured the first rank in the state among female candidates. Aarti Jadhav hails from Hiple village in the South Solapur taluka. The MPSC examination is considered one of the most challenging and prestigious in the state.
