Mumbai-Goa Highway Traffic Update: Travelers heading to Konkan for the Shigmotsav 2025 on Saturday faced massive traffic congestion on the Mumbai-Goa Highway, particularly along the Indapur-Mangaon section and the Mangaon-Pune National Highway.

Vehicles returning from Konkan toward Mumbai and its suburbs were also caught in long queues on the opposite lane.

The traffic reportedly stretched for nearly six to seven kilometers, moving at a snail’s pace. Motorists struggled to navigate the jam, facing additional challenges under the scorching sun.

The ongoing roadwork along the highway reportedly worsened the situation, with the narrow stretch between Mangaon and Indapur becoming a major bottleneck.
