Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray arrived at Raj Bhavan to meet Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari today.

The reason for the visit, however, is not yet confirmed.MNS chief has been accompanied by MNS leaders including Nitin Sardesai and his son, Amit Raj Thackeray.

As per reports, during the covid-19 induced lockdown and unlocking, many sections of society including Mumbai Dabbawalas, delegation of doctors and Koli workers met Raj Thackeray with their problems. Huge amount of power bills, Mumbai local train services to open for all, farmers' financial woes, reopening of temples and exam fiasco are other issues that MNS chief is expected to discuss with the Governor.

The meeting has been termed important as it has been scheduled during a time when a cold war is going on between Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari and chief minister Uddhav Thackeray. Earlier, the issue of opening of temples in Maharashtra had led to a letter war between the Governor and CM Thackeray.
