Affter actress Rhea Chakraborty posted on Instagram requesting for police protection after a crowd gathered inside her building compound.

Responding to her request a police officer reached the actress' residence within an hour.

She had shared a video and wrote, "This is inside my building compound, The man in this video is my father Indrajit chakraborty ( retd . army officer ) We have been trying to get out of our house to cooperate with ED , CBI and various investigation authorities to cooperate. There is a threat to my life and my family’s life. We have informed the local police station and even gone there, no help provided."

The police officer, who reached Rhea's residence said, "I am here to take Indrajeet Chakraborty (father of actor Rhea Chakraborty) to Santa Cruz Police Station, as he has been summoned by Enforcement Directorate (ED)," an ANI tweet on the matter read.
