In a shocking incident, a portion of building collapsed in the Fort area of Mumbai on Friday. At least 40 people have been rescued from the building. Upon learning the incident fire fighters and police rushed to the spot. The rescue operation is still underway, said the Police. 

The middle portion of a four-storey building had collapsed which was being repaired. No one was injured or missing. We are removing the debris now, said a Fire Officer.

The building belongs to MHADA. No casualties have been reported so far.
