BJP and Shiv Sena workers on Wednesday clashed in front of Shiv Sena Bhavan in Dadar. The controversy started after the Shiv Sena targeted the BJP over the Ram Mandir issue. BJP Yuva Morcha workers decided to take out a morcha ner Shiv Sena Bhavan. However, they were stopped by the police at a short distance from Shiv Sena Bhavan.

A scuffle broke out between the workers of both the parties in front of the Shiv Sena Bhavan over the allegations of corruption in the purchase of Ram temple land.Shiv Sainiks and BJP workers attacked each other. The BJP had organized a protest on allegations of Ram Mandir land acquisition. The morcha was organized under the leadership of BJP Youth Morcha Mumbai president Tejinder Singh Tiwana. BJP workers who were on their way to Shiv Sena Bhavan were stopped by the police and taken to the police station. Shiv Sainiks were present in front of Shiv Sena Bhavan along with MLA Sada Sarvankar. He started shouting slogans. The BJP workers has also alleged that Shiv Sainiks assaulted a BJP woman party worker.

What is the BJP's allegation?

Shiv Sena has insulted Hindu religion, religious places and the faith of Ram devotees by making false and fabricated allegations about land acquisition for construction of Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya. BJP Yuva Morcha had organized a protest against this political conspiracy of Shiv Sena. Activists were appealed to gather in front of Shiv Sena Bhavan to protest against this.

What is the role of Shiv Sena?

The construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and its conduct should be done in a transparent and honest manner.  “Ram temple is a matter of faith. The people have made donations out of faith. Even the Shiv Sena had contributed Rs one crore to the Trust,” Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said. “If the money collected out of faith is misused then what is the use of having faith? We need to know what is happening. We need to know whether the allegations are true or false,” he added.
