A gruesome crime came to light in Virar after the severed head of a woman was discovered inside a traveling bag. The shocking find led to the immediate arrest of her husband, who allegedly killed her following a domestic dispute.

According to the police, the murder took place on January 8, 2025, when the accused strangled his wife to death. To cover up the crime, he disposed of her body, but the severed head was later recovered, leading investigators to uncover the truth.
