Abdul Sattar’s wife Nafisa Begum has passed away on Tuesday morning, February 17, bringing deep grief to the Sattar family. Her sudden death has also saddened residents of Sillod, where she was active in local politics. Her funeral will be held today.

Sattar, currently the MLA from Sillod and a leader of the Shiv Sena, earlier represented the constituency as a Congress legislator and later served as a state minister. Nafisa Begum had also been involved in civic affairs and previously held the post of Sillod mayor.

Her untimely death has shocked the family and supporters. Leaders from the Shinde faction of the party and members of the state government are expected to attend the funeral in Sillod.
