Several parts of Nagpur will be experiencing power supply disruption for schedule maintenance and repair work, the power supply will be suspended in various part of the city today, April 08, 2026 between 8:00 am and 1:30 pm. According to Maharashtra Times report, Mahavitaran has announced planned power outages for maintenance in the Congress Nagar division.
From 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the outage will affect Nelco Society, Sumit Nagar, Adhyapak Layout, Azad Hind Nagar, Takli Seem Water Tank area, and LIG-MIG Colony. From 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Jay Badrinath Society, Raut Wadi, Loksewa Nagar, Manish Layout, Gayatri Nagar, Parsodi, and the Hanuman Temple area will be affected.
Additional outages are scheduled in Swavalambinagar and Deendayal Nagar from 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM, Jayprakash Nagar, Sita Nagar, and the Mahalaxmi Temple area from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Mahajan Market and Ayurvedic Market from 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM, and Eternity Mall, VIP Road, Kachipura, and Central Mall areas from 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM.
Power outages are scheduled as follows:
Mahal division: Omkar Nagar, Jaywant Nagar, Sai Nagar, and Gajanan Nagar areas from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM; Ayodhyanagar, Udaynagar Chowk, and Sai Mandir areas from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM; Medical Chowk, Rambagh Colony, Jattarodi, and T.B. Ward areas from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, for technical maintenance.

Butibori division: Kachimet, Shantinagar, and Sant Jagnade Nagar areas from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Power will also be suspended to industrial consumers served by the MIDC substation, including Reliance Cement and Ishan Casting, starting from 10:00 AM.
