Woman in Nagpur got her husband arrested after she discovered that her husband sexually abused and blackmailed several women. The act came to light when she hacked her 32-year-old husband's WhatsApp account. The woman also claim that her husband would often demand unnatural sex and force her to do porn-like acts. Additionally, she also helped a teen rape survivor to file a complaint against her husband, leading to his arrest. As per the reports the accused used fake names and misled women. He lured women to events like spiritual ceremonies. His wife had recently accused him of cruelty. After suspecting her husband of having multiple affairs, she cloned his phone and discovered that he harassed other women. By hacking into his WhatsApp account, she found compromising photos and videos of women with him. Through these chats, the wife learned that her husband had lied to the women, claiming he was single, and had extorted money from some of them. He also coerced them into fulfilling his sexual desires, using the videos and pictures he had taken of them as leverage.
Police said, the accused man has a pan shop in Nagpur and would meet woman in hotels in nearby areas of the city. The accused's wife came forward and contacted few women and asked them to file a complaint. A 19-year-old girl who came Nagpur for studies, who was aslo allegedly sexually abused by the accused, turned up and agreed to file a complaint. The victim revealed that accused identified himself as one Sahil Sharma despite being from a different religion. She said the accused hid from her that he was married and had a child and promised to marry her. While filing a complaint the teen was very scared, and she was counselled by the team. The accused had even sold her ring and taken the money from her. His wife, who brought the teen in front of the police, had revealed that he was cheating on four to five women at the same time.

The accused was charged under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for rape, identity concealment (including religion and name), blackmail, and extortion. Following a one-day custody period, police presented him in court Monday, requesting extended custodial remand.
