Following the violence that erupted in Nagpur, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leader and MLA Aditya Thackeray made serious allegations during an interview. Speaking on the incident, Thackeray emphasized that Nagpur is the home city of both the Chief Minister and the state’s Home Minister, making the delayed police response particularly questionable.

He stated that, "When such incidents occur, and tensions begin to rise, it is crucial that intelligence reports reach the Chief Minister on time". Thackeray further remarked that ever since the formation of the current government in Maharashtra, multiple incidents have taken place including those in Beed and Parbhani. He also noted that sensitive information, such as leaked photos and reports, frequently surfaces in the media.

Reacting sharply to these claims, Fadnavis dismissed them as baseless. During a press conference in Nagpur, when asked about Thackeray’s statement, Fadnavis responded, “Making such allegations is pure nonsense. Some people try to do politics even in such incidents. This statement makes no sense. The incident is serious, but there is no political angle to it. We will not rest until those responsible are brought to justice.”

Someone is Trying to Tarnish CM's Image, Aaditya

Aaditya also claimed that there is someone in this government who doesn’t trust the Chief Minister, and people should be aware of this. Not everything is fine within the government; there are internal rifts. They frequently criticize each other. So, we must question whether someone from their own alliance is attempting to pull Fadnavis down.”
