The state government is also providing Rs 6,000 to farmers under the 'Namo Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana', with an announced increase of Rs 3,000, as stated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed the 19th installment of the 'Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana' in Bhagalpur, Bihar. The state-level event took place in Vanamati, chaired by Chief Minister Fadnavis. 

He mentioned that the central government offers Rs 6,000 annually to farmers, while the state government also contributes Rs 6,000 via 'Namo Kisan Samman Nidhi'. With the upcoming increase, farmers will receive Rs 9,000 from the state and Rs 6,000 from the center.

Notably, Agriculture Minister Manikrao Kokate was absent from this agriculture-related program, which raised some discussion among attendees.
