While the case of phone tapping of several leaders of the state is being reported, now it has come to light that the phone of Congress state president Nana Patole has also been tapped.

Nana Patole's phone was tapped while he was a BJP MP. It has come to light that the name is different but the mobile number belongs to Nana Patole and his close ones. Patole's phone was tapped in the name of Amjad Khan. Apart from this, phones of 4 of his colleagues were also tapped.

Congress state president Nana Patole has demanded the government to take action in this regard. Nana has raised the question of who was ruling the state during that when his phone was tapped. Patole said that the matter should be properly investigated and strict action should be taken against those involved. Phones of many other big leaders are also being tapped.

In a state like Maharashtra, individual freedom will not be attacked. Patole has said that action should be taken against those who are responsible for this.

Everyone has right to personal freedom. No one can interfere in anyone’s private life. No one's phone can be tapped without government permission. Attempts are being made to make Maharashtra like Gujarat and when my phone was tapped, whoe government was ruling in the state at that time, Nana Patole asked.

In 2017, Nana Patole was a BJP MP. Their individual freedoms should not be disregarded. One party should not tap the phones of the other party and their party leaders. The matter should be investigated by a committee of retired judges.I am with Nana. No one's phone should be tapped like this, said senior BJP leader and former minister Sudhir Mungantiwar.
