Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday  condoled the loss of lives in the  tractor accident in Nanded district and announced an assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the kin of each of the deceased after 11 female laborers fell into a well. The accident occurred around 7 a.m and villagers acted swiftly to rescue the trapped individuals. 

The well was filled with water and sludge, complicating the rescue efforts. Adding to the tragedy, it has been revealed that the tractor was being driven by a 15-year-old boy, raising serious concerns about the safety measures in place.The laborers were on their way to harvest turmeric at a farm when the vehicle fell into a well. The area was slippery due to rains.
