The allegations made by the then Commissioner of Intelligence Rashmi Shukla regarding the transfer posting racket of IPS and non-IPS officers of Maharashtra Police force are completely false. Rashmi Shukla is a BJP agent. She had tapped the phones of political leaders who were against the BJP during the drama of power struggle in the state politics after the Maharashtra Assembly election 2019, a sensational allegation has been made by NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik on Tuesday.

After Devendra Fadnavis held a press conference and said that he has data of 6.3 GB regarding the transfer racket, Nawab Malik immediately called a press conference and said that all the allegations made by Fadnavis were false and that Rashmi Shukla was a BJP agent. Rashmi Shukla had tapped the phones of BJP opponents when the process of coming to power in Maharashtra was underway. She has a habit of tapping people's phones illegally. That is why the Mahavikasaghadi government created a separate post for them without directly promoting them as punishment, said Nawab Malik.

Devendra Fadnavis is misleading the people of Maharashtra by giving false information. The manner in which he was defending Rashmi Shukla today has exposed the falsity of Fadnavis. According to Devendra Fadnavis, the phone was tapped with the permission of the Union Home Ministry during the police transfer racket. However, no such permission was sought from the Home Ministry. Nawab Malik alleged that Rashmi Shukla wanted to tap the phones of many people illegally.

Fadnavis on Tuesday aid that he has sought time from Union Home Secretary to meet him and hand him over 6.3 GB of data of call recordings & some documents pertaining to alleged transfer posting racket of IPS and non-IPS officers of Maharashtra Police.

Further the BJP leader said, Commissioner of Intelligence sent a report of intercepted calls suspicious to be involved in transfer racket to DG Maharashtra in Aug '20. It was forwarded to CM later & he expressed concern but no action was taken. I have data of 6.3 GB containing all information. He was speaking at a press conference in Mumbai.
