NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule voiced serious concerns about corruption and extortion during a review meeting in Beed. She criticized unnamed politicians and highlighted an incident involving Santosh Deshmukh and Mahadev Munde, where Deshmukh was assaulted while someone on a phone call listened without helping. Sule condemned this inaction as a grave injustice.

Sule also claimed someone tried to block the Avada company from getting government contracts by sending letters to the central government. Allegedly, this same person then used those letters to extort money, following a pattern of corruption. Sule made a startling prediction that one victim had already been killed within 100 days and another would be killed within six months. She didn't name anyone, but her statement has caused significant discussion among politicians.

“I Will Stay in the Opposition, But I Won’t Compromise on Morality”

Sule directly accused certain leaders of abusing their power, specifically alleging that some politicians hide behind their wives to do so. She questioned the morality of an unnamed minister who she claimed kept a gun in his wife's car to potentially incriminate her. “I could never have worked in a party with such people. Either he would have left, or I would have. We must stop bowing down to money and power. We should fight against such trends,” she declared.

She further claimed that a state minister is speaking a lot but only under the protection of his wife. “Who are these cowardly ministers? The whole of Maharashtra will soon know. In four to six months, he will be out of office,” she stated.

Call to Party Workers: “The Fight Must Continue”

Addressing the party's shift to the opposition, Sule encouraged party workers to remain strong. “We were in power for many years, and now we are in the opposition. So what? Why should we stop fighting? Party workers must rise above the fear of big issues and continue the struggle. The people have high expectations from us. Winning and losing are part of politics,” she said.
