NCP leader Rohit Pawar on Wednesday reacted to his cousin Parth Pawar’s tweet in support of the Supreme Court after it's decision to allow the CBI to probe Sushant Singh Rajput's death case.

Parth Pawar, who was publicly reprimanded by the NCP chief Sharad Pawar recently for seeking a CBI probe into the case of Rajput's death, tweeted "Satyamev Jayate", which means truth shall prevail, without making any reference to the case.

When media asked his cousin Rohit Pawar’s response on the tweet, he said, “I do not know what Parth tweeted and why he did so, but we are proud of the Mumbai police and we trust them."

The apex court on Wednesday morning ordered a CBI probe into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and asked Mumbai Police to hand over all evidence collected so far in the case to CBI.

Parth’s tweet for the SC verdict made it again seem like all is not well in Maharashtra’s ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). His response of the verdict came in sharp contrast to Maharashtra government's stance on the matter, as it opposed a CBI probe and wanted the case to be with Mumbai Police.

NCP chief Sharad Pawar had earlier said,"We give no importance to what my grand- nephew says. He is immature...I have clearly said that I have 100 per cent trust in the Maharashtra Police and Mumbai Police. But if someone still wants a CBI probe into it, then there is no reason to oppose that too".
