'PM Modi will definitely resolve the issue of Maratha reservation', informs CM Thackeray after meeting

A positive discussion has taken place with the Prime Minister and the issue of Maratha reservation will be resolved soon, the Chief Minister said in a press conference held at the Maharashtra House. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Chairman of the Maratha Reservation Sub-Committee Ashok Chavan were also present during the meeting between the Chief Minister and the Prime Minister. The meeting lasted for about an hour and a half.

There is unrest in the Maratha community after the Supreme Court's decision to cancel the Maratha reservation. On the same background, the Chief Minister met Prime Minister Modi today.'The meeting with the Prime Minister was formal. There was a positive discussion about Maratha reservation. Modi listened to the whole issue seriously. We gave them detailed letters about it. He will definitely solve this problem, 'said the Chief Minister. 

Along with the Maratha reservation, discussions were held with Modi about Other backward classes (OBC) reservation. OBC reservation has been canceled by the court. This is a national issue.Apart from this, the issue of reservation in the promotion of backward classes is also sensitive. This was also discussed with Modi, informed the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister said that discussions were also held on the location of Kanjurmarg for Metro Car Shed, exhausted GST, crop loan of farmers, simplification of their conditions.
