After 33 days of search, Pune police has been successful in finding Gautam Pashankar, 64-year-old owner of a leading two-wheeler dealership agency.

The entrepreneur had gone missing since October 21. Gautam Pashankar, chairman of Pashankar Auto, had left a "note" behind saying that nobody should be held responsible for his actions.

A team of Pune police found him in a hotel in Jaipur. "Police had recovered a note in which he had stated that he was suffering losses in the business since the last two-three years and because of his decisions, his children were facing troubles.

"The note said that nobody should be responsible for his disappearance or suicide," he said. “Some of my decisions related to business have caused trouble for my family members…. nobody should be held responsible…,” the note read.

A team from Crime Branch Unit 1 was searching for him. Police Inspector Sunil Takwale learned from reporters that he was in Jaipur. Sub-Inspector of Police Sanjay Gaikwad and his colleagues rushed to Jaipur. The team went to a hotel and arrested Gautam Pashankar around 3 pm on Tuesday, said Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta.
