The driver of a container truck heading towards Solapur on the Pune-Solapur highway lost control and fell off the Madanwadi bridge near Bhigwan, killing the driver on the spot. The accident took place on Saturday (15) at around 6 am, in which the driver Shravan Kumar Bhagwati Prasad Yadav (age 30, resident of Mumbai, originally from Uttar Pradesh) died on the spot. In this, the container truck (MH. 43 CK 6411) was going towards Solapur when it broke the guardrail on the bridge and fell off.

A major accident was averted as there were no vehicles on the service road at the time of the accident. As soon as the accident was reported, the Bhigwan police went to the accident site and restored traffic on the service road.

At around 6 am today, the driver Yadav was going towards Solapur with a container. At that time, the driver lost control of the vehicle, and the truck broke the guardrail on the bridge and fell off. A major disaster was averted as there was no one on the service road in the morning. Police have informed that driver Shravan Kumar Bhagwati Prasad Yadav died in the accident.
