In a tragic incident on the Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway, a fully loaded cement truck collided with multiple vehicles, resulting in the untimely death of a 34-year-old motorcyclist. The accident occurred around 10 am on the road leading from Katraj to Navale Bridge Chowk.

The cement truck collided with a cluster of vehicles at a signal near Navale Bridge. The vehicles involved in the collision included a Maharashtra government vehicle and a two-wheeler.

Tragically, the motorcyclist, identified as 34-year-old Sandesh Banda Khedekar from Tilekar Nagar, near ISKCON Temple, Katraj – Kondhwa Road, lost his life at the scene of the accident. The collision resulted in extensive damage to all vehicles involved.

Despite the severity of the accident, no other injuries were reported among the individuals present. The injured received prompt medical attention, but Sandesh Banda Khedekar's life was sadly cut short. The truck driver, a Karnataka resident, has been taken into custody, as investigations into this devastating accident continue.
