Ryan Thorpe, an IT expert from Kundra's company, has been arrested from Nerul following the arrest of actress Shilpa Shetty's husband and businessman Raj Kundra. The court on Tuesday sent them both to police custody till July 23. According to the investigation, Kundra is the main facilitator of the porn film-making gang and was managing it from WhatsApp.
The Property Cell has so far arrested a total of 11 accused in the case. The interrogation of Umesh Kamat, who was arrested in February, revealed the Kundra connection. Kamat is the managing director of Kundra's Vian Industrial Estate Company. According to Kamat, Pradip Bakshi, owner of London-based Canrin Private Limited, is a relative of Raj Kundra.
Raj Kundra is currently being questioned. Many shocking revelations are emerging from this inquiry. According to the inquiry, Raj Kundra might have already known that he was going to be arrested. He had an inkling that his company would be on the radar of Indian intelligence in the coming days, therefore Raj Kundra had prepared 'Plan B' for this.
Raj Kundra's plan B is revealed from the WhatsApp chat which is now with the crime branch. During the investigation, the mobile of Raj Kundra's former PA Umesh Kamat was checked. At that time, many such chats have come up in this mobile that revealed Raj Kundra's plan B. The group had informed that Google had suspended Pradip Bakshi for not complying with the hotshot app rules. Raj Kundra then replied, "No problem. Plan B has started. The new application will go live in a maximum of 2 to 3 weeks."
Meanwhile, as soon as Raj Kundra was released from police custody, his WhatsApp group chat went viral on social media. It also mentions financial transactions with Pradip Bakshi and the money of the artists. It has also been mentioned that a total of 81 artists are yet to be paid.
