Deputy Chief Minister and Nationalist Congress Party President Ajit Pawar reprimanded the state's Agriculture Minister Manikrao Kokate, who is making headlines for his controversial statement. Some media outlets reported, citing sources, that Ajit Pawar had slapped Kokate over his controversial statement. Speaking about this, Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana leader Raju Shetti advised Ajit Pawar.

State Agriculture Minister Manikrao Kokate had made a statement while talking about the farm loan waiver, which angered farmers and the opposition. Ajit Pawar has also expressed his displeasure over the controversial statements in a meeting held at Devagiri Bungalow. Following which opposition are demanding Kokate's resignation. Raju Shetti said," Ajit Pawar should have done this when that Manikrao compared farmers with beggars. Such a person should not have been included in the cabinet. I don't know why he was included. But the agriculture minister should act wisely now, otherwise the farmers will not remain silent anymore".

Corruption of 50 thousand crores in Shaktipeeth highway - Raju Shetti

Raj Shetti has made a serious allegation. "The unrealistic expenditure shown for the Shaktipeeth highway means that there is a possibility of huge corruption in it. They have shown that expenditure as 86 thousand crores. That means that this road that was to be built at 28 thousand crores will be converted into 86 thousand crores and corruption of 50 thousand crores will be involved in it".
