Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana leader and MP Raju Shetti has accused the Modi government at the Centre of bringing new agricultural laws for big industrialists like Mukesh Ambani. The leader believe the new laws brought in by the government will favour the industrialists, who is widely believed to be close to Modi.

Raju Shetti has announced that he will stage a protest against Mukesh Ambani in front of his Reliance office in Mumbai.

While speaking to media in Pune on Wednesday against the backdrop of farmer's agitation. Shetty said that a protest will be held on December 22 at Mukesh Ambani's office in Mumbai. Shetti also said that independent MLAs Bachchu Kadu and Baba Adhav would also participate in it. Raju Shetty has also appealed to the leader of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, Prakash Ambedkar, to join the protest.

"If the central government really wants to give something to the farmers, give them guarantee. Don't impose unwanted laws on them," said Raju Shetti. Shetti also said that farmers' organizations in Maharashtra are also united against the Modi government's agricultural laws.
