Sunetra Pawar, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader, was on a visit to Delhi. Several media reports claimed that she was seen alone, as no party leaders, including NCP state president Sunil Tatkare and Praful Patel, were present with her on Thursday, April 2.
During her visit, Sunetra Pawar said, “Only you know when he comes and goes,” when asked why Praful Patel was not with her. Meanwhile, it is reported that Sunil Tatkare was in his Raigad district on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. However, political circles in Maharashtra are abuzz, as Praful Patel was not seen with Sunetra Pawar despite being in the national capital.

However, Parth Pawar, son of Sunetra Pawar, rejected the claims and reports, terming them “baseless” and “narratives” aimed at targeting senior party leadership, including Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare.
“Baseless reports and speculative narratives targeting Praful Patel ji and Sunil Tatkare ji are nothing but fiction. Their decades of unwavering commitment and leadership continue to guide us all. Dragging such senior leaders into manufactured controversies is deeply unfortunate and must be called out,” Parth Pawar said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
On Deputy CM Sunetra Pawar's letter to ECI not having mention of NCP leaders Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare, Congress leader Nana Patole said, "Sunetra Pawar is the national president of the party. It is her right to decide whom to give responsibilities within the party. This is an internal matter of the party."
Earlier, NCP-SP leader Rohit Pawar had accused Praful Patel of writing to Sunil Tatkare regarding the powers of the National President in the NCP constitution, which had been assigned to the National Working President.
