Supriya Sule, Member of Parliament from Baramati and leader of the NCP-Sharadchandra Pawar, was honored with the Sansad Ratna Award on Sunday, February 18, by President Droupadi Murmu. The award ceremony, recognizing outstanding performance, took place at New Maharashtra Sadan in New Delhi, where five MPs were felicitated.
Alongside Supriya Sule, the recipients of the award included BJP's Sukanta Majumdar and Sudheer Gupta, Shiv Sena's Shrikant Eknath Shinde, and NCP's Amol Ramsing Kolhe. Previously, Sule was honored with the Parliament Excellence Maharatna Award for Best Journalism by Prime Point Foundation and E Magazine in Chennai. Tamilisai Soundararajan and Central Commission for Backward Classes Chairman Hansraj Ahir presented her with the award. Retired Supreme Court Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Minister of State for Home Affairs Ajay Kumar Mishra, and Priyadarshini Rahul, Chairperson of the Parliament Ratna Award Committee and Trustee of the Foundation, were also present during the ceremony.
