A massive fire broke out at a Gaurav Disposable factory located under Shendre Bogda Road near Songaon in Satara district of Maharashtra, on Sunday evening, March 29. According to the Pudhari report, the company owned by Sagar Raghunath Jadhav, a resident of Satara, manufactures paper plates
According to information, the factory was completely gutted in a blaze. However, no injuries or casualties were reported in the following incident, as all workers had left for the day.

At least five fire engines reached the spot after receiving the distress call. The fire confined to inflammable materials stored inside the premises made containment difficult. Preliminary investigation suggests a short circuit on an MSEB electricity pole behind the factory sparked the fire.
Officials estimate substantial financial losses, though an exact damage assessment remains pending. Investigations will be held the find out the exact cause of the fire.
