Savitribai Phule Pune University has postponed the online and offline examinations scheduled for today, due to heavy rainfall alert. Information regarding this has been published on the website of the university.The Maharashtra government has decided to postpone the online and offline exams on Thursday for the safety of students as heavy rainfall alert has been issued in most parts of the state. Rain can disrupt power supply in many places. This can lead to problems with internet connectivity. Also, due to heavy rains, students who take exams offline may have difficulty in reaching the examination center. Therefore the university has canceled the examinations for all the subjects scheduled for October 15. The revised schedule of the examinations will be published soon, the university has clarified.
