Sharad Pawar Health Update News: Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) leader Rohit Pawar on Monday said party chief Sharad Pawar’s health is stable and that he is not in the intensive care unit at a Pune hospital. Speaking to reporters outside Ruby Hall Clinic, Rohit Pawar said he has been admitted to a private room and does not require any medical support at present.
“Sharad Pawar's health is very good right now. His tests have been done there. He has not been kept in the ICU. He has been kept in a private room there. He doesn't need any support there right now,” NCP-SP leader said as quoted by ANI.
He added that a decision on whether Pawar will continue treatment in Pune or be shifted to Mumbai will be taken after medical reports are reviewed. “Once the reports come, it will be decided whether he will be kept in Pune or Mumbai. Pawar came here in a private vehicle, and everything is normal,” he said.
Rohit Pawar also appealed to party workers not to gather at the hospital. “I request that all party workers avoid coming here, as there are many other patients in the hospital, so as not to inconvenience them. I, Supriya Tai, the doctors, the party workers, and people from across Maharashtra will provide regular updates,” he added.
Sharad Pawar was admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic earlier in the day after his condition worsened at his residence in Baramati. According to an official statement from his office, he had been suffering from a throat infection, persistent cough and breathing discomfort over the past few days.
