NCP president Sharad Pawar met Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and discussed the political situation in the state and the Maha Vikas Aghadi government's handling of the COVID-19 situation.

"The picture that is being painted by NCP ministers and leaders questioning the functioning of the chief minister is a rumor," said Nawab Malik, the NCP's national spokesperson and minority minister."No minister has raised any question on the modus operandi. The government is working in unity, "Nawab Malik said. The meeting between Sharad Pawar and the Chief Minister were centred around political developments in the state. The two leaders discussed the MVA government's management of COVID-19, vaccination, lockdown and other important issues, "said Nawab Malik.

"Don't believe the rumors, spreading rumors is a crime. There was no political discussion between Sharad Pawar and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. There are many issues including Maratha reservation. Corona, Vaccinatio can't these topics be discussed? Sharad Pawar has blessed the government from the bottom of his heart. This government will complete 5 years, "said MP Sanjay Raut.
