Shiv Sena in its editorial published in ‘Saamana’,  has called for the “sons of the soil” to unite amid the ongoing political scenario in Maharashtra.

Sanjay Raut on Monday in an interview with ABP news once again appealed Raj Thackeray or those who love Maharashtra, everyone should come together for the crisis that is looming over Maharashtra.

Calling 'Thackeray' a brand of Maharashtra's self-respect, Sanjay Raut also reached out to Raj Thackeray. He said the second such brand is 'Pawar' and claimed there is a conspiracy to demolish such brands and capture Mumbai.

"Even Raj Thackeray is a part of this Thackeray brand. Even he may face the problems because of this. He may have differences of opinion with Shiv Sena, but in Maharashtra, the power of 'Brand Thackeray' should stay," Sanjay Raut said.

Sena in it's editorial had said,"Once again the efforts to vilify the image Maharashtra's capital Mumbai has begun. These attempts are made by the 'outsiders'. But, as per tradition, the moles inside our own house are to make them stronger. In the intervening period, Mumbai was called Pakistan. BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) was referred to as 'Babar' after the Municipal Corporation took action on the illegal construction of an actress (Kangana Ranaut) who insulted Mumbai," the editorial said."
