In a fresh attack on the BMC and the Shiv Sena, Kangana Ranaut said on Thursday that the party is ready to sell its ideology for power and become "Sonia Sena" from Shiv Sena".
"The ideology on which Balasaheb Thackeray build the Shiv Sena, the party, today, is ready to sell its ideology and become "Sonia Sena" from "Shiv Sena", Kangana Ranaut said in a tweet early Thursday.
Ranaut called the BMC officials 'goons': "The goons who demolished my house behind my back, don't call them civic body."
Further atacking Sena she said: "Your father's good deeds can only give you wealth but respect, you have to gain yourself. How many mouths you'll shut? How many voices you'll suppress? For how long you'll run away from the truth?"
The BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation's action in partly demolishing Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut's office received flak from various quarters, including ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) partners Nationalist Congress Party, Congress, and the opposition BJP on Wednesday.
Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis termed it "an act of cowardice and vendetta" by the Maharashtra government which he said has "dented its image all over the country".
"Attacking people who speak up against you with state support is something that has never before happened in the history of the state. Merely because someone spoke against the government, demolishing a structure, "even if it is illegal", is tantamount to an act of cowardice and vendetta. If this action had been taken against others also, then it would have been proper. But by singling out one person who has criticised you and act against her it cannot be supported," Bharatiya Janata Party leader Fadnavis said.
