Recently, Shiv Sena leader MP Sanjay Raut had said that it was an insult to Maharashtra to meet the Governor on state issues. Raut's target was BJP and MNS president Raj Thackeray. The Raj Bhavan has now been in the discussion as several leaders have been meeting Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari over the past few months on issues related to the state.

But on Friday, Shiv Sena leader and Minister of State Kishore Tiwari met Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. Tiwari who is also the chairman of the Vasantrao Naik Shetkari Swavalamban Mission, demanded to remove the backlog of Vidarbha and Marathwada. Kishor Tiwari demanded in a statement that the governor should use his privilege to give justice to Vidarbha and Marathwada and the governor himself should visit the region. Kishor Tiwari also complained to Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari that the state government has announced Rs 10,000 crore for flood relief which is not sufficient for people of Vidarbha.

On this occasion, Kishori Tiwari said that she had demanded the Governor to remove the backlog of Vidarbha and Marathwada. The Chief Minister did not meet, so he went to the Governor and met him. He demanded that Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari use his privilege to give justice to Vidarbha and Marathwada.

Tiwari had come to Mumbai to meet Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray for this demand, but the Chief Minister did not meet him, so he went to the Governor and discussed the state issues.

Meanwhile Amravati MLA Ravi Rana and his wife MP Navneet Rana also tried to meet Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, but to no avail. According to Amar Ujala, Ravi Rana claimed to have called Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray 50 times. But there was no reply from the Chief Minister. Later, Ravi Rana and Navneet Rana also met Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari.
