Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut launched a sharp attack on Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his supporters, claiming that they exhibit all ten characteristics of foolishness as described by Samarth Ramdas Swami. Raut further accused Shinde of betraying the Shiv Sena legacy, stating that party founder Balasaheb Thackeray had given him everything, while former CM Uddhav Thackeray had repeatedly forgiven his mistakes.

"No matter how much someone tries, Thackeray is Thackeray," Raut asserted, emphasizing that his faction will not associate with those who "broke the party, sold it, and handed it over to Shinde."

He also accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of attempting to eliminate the Thackeray brand from Maharashtra, stating that Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are behind the effort. "To fulfill Shah's dream, Shinde and his group of 40 thieves formed their own faction," Raut said, adding that aligning with such forces would be a betrayal of Maharashtra’s martyrs.
