In a shocking incident, a 65-year-old cancer patient from Alibag taluka, who was officially declared dead by a Tata ACTREC hospital, was found to be breathing when he was being sent back in an ambulance to Thal village. 

The cancer patient died on Saturday in RCF Hopsital in Thal. The patient was brought in for treatment at the Tata ACTREC hospital on Friday, where he was declared dead on arrival. 

The victim's son, Aniruddh Mhatre, and grandson, Yogesh Mhatre, have refused to comment on the matter.
