In a shocking incident, a 7 year old girl suffered cardiac arrest in a flight that was heading to Mumbai from Lucknow. The girl was travelling with her father in GoAir flight was declared brought dead at the government medical collect and hospital after being rushed for an emergency landing at Nagpur airport at 7:25 am on Tuesday.

The exact cause of Ayushi Punvasi Prajapati, resident of Seheri Khat, Siddarth  Nagar, death is not known yet. The GMCH officials that the viscera samples have been preserved to ascertain the cause of death more properly. However it is being said that the main reason for the girl to collapse was a cardiac arrest triggered by the high altitude. According to GoAir officials, the girl was anaemic, and the father had not disclosed this, else the girl would not have been allowed to the board the flight. The girl had haemoglobin levels below 8 gm- 2.5grams and that could have been the reason for her cardiac arrest. The officials also revealed that the father-daughter duo was on their way to Mumbai for treatment of the same.
