Kalyan Lok Sabha MP Shrikant Shinde, son of Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, recently visited Ambarnath to oversee ongoing development projects. During his visit, he confirmed that 'Operation Tiger' would continue in the state. He highlighted that as part of this operation, a former MLA from the UBT party had joined their ranks on Friday and assured that more such developments would follow.

Several key projects are currently underway in Ambarnath, including the Rs 140 crore beautification of the historic Shiva temple, a Rs 38 crore auditorium at the circus ground, and a Rs 10 crore sports complex in Netaji Market, along with other initiatives. Shinde instructed officials to ensure timely completion of these projects.

While inspecting the works, Shinde also criticized the opposition, attributing the influx of UBT leaders into their party to the achievements of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's administration over the past two and a half years. He accused the opposition of resorting to "dinner diplomacy" and claimed that UBT leaders were instructing their members not to attend dinner events.

Despite these instructions, Shinde emphasized the genuine bonds of friendship and camaraderie that have been fostered, which UBT has failed to develop.

Shinde also called for an end to the opposition's constant politicization of every issue, including the recognition of Eknath Shinde’s accomplishments. He suggested that UBT leaders need to reflect on why people are distancing themselves from them, noting that even their former allies in the Mahavikas Aghadi were now drifting away.
