An independent MLA Rajendra Raut from Solapur's Barshi has received a death threat while he was doing Facebook Live. It is learned that Nandu alias Baba Patil, a resident of Panvel, Navi Mumbai, has made the threat. A case has been registered against Baba Patil.

Prashant Chandrakant Kharade (age 40), resident of Shivaji Akhada, Barshi has lodged a complaint. A case under Section 507 of the IPC has been registered at Barshi police station. Rajendra Raut has been threatened that he will not be allowed to leave Mumbai if he engages in politics against Shiv Sena leader Bhausaheb Andhalkar. According to the complaint, the man has threatened Rajendra Raut as well as corporator Amol Chavan.
